Dipping Prices for Older DSLRs

Has anyone noticed that prices for the early generation of DSLRs are now approaching $200. Remember how people used to rave about these 6 MP images! At these prices it starts to make sense to consider matching up an older DSLR with some of the great lenses available, either directly or with an adapter. Add an older film SLR that makes use of the same lenses and you cover the complete spectrum of photography.

Remember the camera companies while coming up with great new products all the time would like you to forget all the good gear that is still working and available at a discount. Make sure your camera dollars go where they need to go--into good lenses. Stretch your photo budget by looking into using older lenses and the difference can be used to fund your next DSLR purchase as you choose to upgrade.
